Love and Laughter Studio: ASL Interpreting was officially established in 2022. I have been interpreting off-and-on since at least 1993. I joined the American Sign Language Interpreting School in Seattle (an non-accredited Interpreter Training Program) for ASL 7, 8, and 9 and Interpreting 1, 2, and 3. I graduated around 1998. My BA is in Deaf Education and my MA from Gallaudet University is in Parent-Infant Education. I have taught and been an administrator in mainstream and residential programs. In 2013, my SCPI rating was Advanced Plus and in 2018, my ASLPI score from Gallaudet was 3+. I am currently working toward Mississippi Interpreter licensure and RID certification.
